Two seniors travelling next spring to Cesky Krumlov looking for lodging recommendations. Criteria- 125-175 per night, good breakfast, and accessible without too many steps. Also prefer location close to, but not in middle of downtown/pub area.

Hi, Mike - I was there about 10 years ago, so keep that in mind, but my friend and I stayed at the Pension Anna, which was wonderful. It was a very short walk to the town center (about 3 minutes) but on the outskirts so no crowds or noise. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Also several years ago but we were happy with our stay at the Hotel Konvice. The room was large, comfortable and attractive and a breakfast buffet was offered. I don’t recall the stair situation. It was well located for sightseeing near a large square with restaurants, shops and the Tourist Info office but we never had any noise issues and I would have noticed…I highly prize quiet surroundings. Good luck. We spent a couple of days in CK. If you’re up to it we had a great time on an easy paddle down the shallow Vlatava river in May, stopping at a riverside restaurant/campsite for grilled sausages and a beer before meeting the crew that drove us back to the livery in town. We were semi seniors back then. Safe travels.
