Please share any opinions and pros or cons regarding Hotel Kings Court versus Hotel Hastal for trip at end of November. I did have reservations at Hotel Julius but really wanted room with a bathtub so looking at these two based on booking.com.
This is "horses for courses". The Hastal is a smaller family-run 4 star on a quiet square. Kings Court is a large 5 star overlooking the bustling Republic Square. Hastal offers regular hotel services but no extras. Kings Court has a nice ballroom and a built-in wellness area. So if you are looking for a local friendly and typically Czech hotel then it should be the Hastal. If you want a large hotel with services then it's Kings Court.
We stayed at the hotel Hastel a few years ago. It was a quick walk to the main square and we passed a reliable ATM on the way. There is a nice restaurant across the street called Lokal where we ate 2x. Mostly locals. They have an elevator and a backyard for sitting with a glass of wine to review the day and go over the next day’s plans.
