Hi, I haven't done any research on Prague yet or has booked our accomodation yet . My sister was reading the DK book and it recommended Hotel Josef. I wonder if anyone has stayed there before. Thanks

It is a very modern and upscale hotel. Location is good. I haven't stayed there.

We just stayed in their sister hotel, Maximiliam, a block or so away and had a great experience.

It's a very "contemporary" style hotel, rather edge-y. for example, many of the bathrooms in the rooms are completely transparent .. walls and all fixtures including the toilet. No privacy at all! Lobby is loud and full of echoes. The architect, Eva Jiricna, always puts "style" over comfort.
