I Have Flights Booked to Prague from Amsterdam on Friday Nov 12 - Can I Get Into CZ for Tourism?

I'm leaving Friday, and I can't figure out the rules. I am fully (double Moderna) vaccinated and have been in Amsterdam for 14 days. With a valid negative PCR test from Amsterdam, will I be able to get into CZ for tourist purposes? I do not have an EU residency. KLM is so confusing. The US Embassy in CZ says yes, US Citizens who are vaccinated can indeed enter CZ for tourism. But I really don't want to be stranded since my flight comes in at 11PM Friday night.

I have a hotel, opera tickets for Sunday, and a tour of the castle set up already. Help please! Should I just go and see what happens? I'm trying to get in touch with KLM about it b/c their system says I can't go for tourism. I would arrive Friday night and return Monday afternoon to Amsterdam if it worked out.

Thank you SOOOO much! I had only seen the links that KLM sent me (which are out of date) and the conflicting US Embassy site (which matches the site you sent over). Whew!!

Have fun! I plan to be there next month, arriving from Paris, so I understand the question about arriving from somewhere other than the U.S. :)

Ok, but wait...this site you posted from CZ has a link (in English) about what vaccine documentation is accepted. https://koronavirus.mzcr.cz/en/recognition-of-vaccination-certificates-from-other-countries/

It says under option 3 (where USA is): "it must be a written certificate issued at least in English by an authorised body operating in a third country and contain the details of the person vaccinated, the type of vaccine administered, the date of administration of the vaccine, identification of the body that issued the certificate, and these details must be verifiable by remote access directly from the written certificate"

How is a USA vaccine card (paper only) verifiable by remote access directly from the written certificate? There's no QR code on US vaccine cards...

You just need your CDC card. It’s an either 1) or 2) - not both.

EXCEPTIONS FOR:

Vaccinated persons:

1) persons who prove themselves by a national certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 issued in accordance with the EU Regulation on the EU digital certificate COVID, provided that vaccination has elapsed at least 14 days after completion of the vaccination schedule and who do not show any symptoms of COVID-19 ;
