Halloween/All Saints Day in Prague

My wife will be arriving in Prague on October 30th. Halloween (Oct 31st) is my birthday, what should we expect in terms of Halloween in Prague? Is it a big deal or just another day? All saints in Nov 1st, we are catholic but wondered if its a significant holiday in the Czech republic, closures of museums etc

Thanks all these forums are immensely helpful to us!

It's not included on the holiday list in Rick's Prague book (p. 482), so I'd expect normal operations, with museums open regular Sunday hours on Nov. 1. You could get a jump on a castle visit by sitting through mass in Czech at the St. Vitus Cathedral. The Jewish sites are always closed Saturday and open Sunday.
