We just did a week-long family gathering in Prague. To help us get oriented, we engaged Vaclav Štorek to guide us for two half days. Vaclav pops up in RS books and on this forum for a good reason: he’s excellent. Although we followed a set itinerary, Vaclav made it seem fresh. He is super knowledgeable and very engaging; we enjoyed spending time with him. There were 14 of us (grandparents through a 5-year-old) and Vaclav connected with everyone. I hope we get back to Prague, and if so, Vaclav will be our first call.
Could you provide contact information?
Here is Václav’s website. His email is included there.
I'll add another name in case he's booked. We just finished two day tour with Gabriela affiliated with Prague Walker (recommended by RS). Very intelligent and knowledgeable. Apologies to Jason - we booked her before we found out about his tours.
No apology needed. It's a free world. There are a lot of great guides in Prague but if you get a tip just check that they are on the official guide list at https://mmr.gov.cz/cs/microsites/pruvodci/seznam-pruvodcu/seznam-zpravy. It just means that they have the legal right to offer tours in Czechia as opposed to somebody who just turns up and says they know about the city. Always remember.....guides are nice people!
Thanks, just corresponded with him, hopefully will book.
