Getting To Prague from Frankfort or Munich

My husband and I will be traveling to Frankfort and would like to visit Prague. I prefer not to fly.
Is there a train from either Frankfort or Munich?
Thanks

I suppose that by Frankfort you mean Frankfurt am Main. There is a direct train from Munich and also bus run by Deutsche Bahn. For fast connection from Frankfurt you go by train to Nuremberg and from there by bus - also operated by Deutsche Bahn. You can find schedule and prices on Deutsche Bahn website.

To add to Ilja's reply, it is important to spell place names correctly when searching - not all websites have Google's "Did You Mean?" feature. And just as there is a Portland, Oregon and a Portland, Maine, in Germany there is Frankfurt an der Oder (in the very east of the country, and probably not the one you want) and Frankfurt am Main (closer to the center of the country, with the giant airport, and probably the one you want). You do not want to buy tickets to the wrong one!

To find train schedules for almost of Europe, as well as prices for trains starting or ending in Germany, use the Bahn (German Rail) website http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en, following Rick's tutorial: http://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/transportation/trains/online-schedules.

Flixbus do very cheap tickets between Frankfurt - Prague and Munich - Prague.

Duetsche Bahn's bus service is recommended in lieu of the train, is it is faster.

Deutsche Bahn bus is faster because it's nonstop between Munich and Prague resp. Nuremberg and Prague.
