getting to Prague Castle from Hilton Prague Hotel

What is the best way to get from the Hilton Prague Hotel (not Hilton Old Town) to the Prague Castle. If I have this correct it looks like it's a 30 min walk to the Národní Třída Station to catch Tram #22 or a 40min walk up to the Castle. How much would an Uber cost for 2 persons?

Download the app Rome2Rio. It’s very good for this kind of transportation planning. When I put in your destinations it gives me several tram/walk options, taxi and walking options with approximate prices and a crude map.

If you are considering public transport then try the city transport app at https://pid.cz/en/mobile-app/ through which you can see route info and buy the necessary tickets online. In this case it would probably say walk 3 minutes to the Florenc Metro and get off two stops along the red line at Museum. Then take the green line and get off at Malostranska metro and change to the tram 22. Or if you don't like the metro take the tram 8 from Florenc to Republic Square then change to the 15 to get to Malostranska then the 22 up to the castle. If you are in Prague before November get off the 22 tram at Kralovstvi Letohradek and walk to the castle through the Imperial Gardens (nicer views and less queues).

Hello from Wisconsin,
I could be way off, but wouldn't Tram 8 take you the back door of the castle?

I would also be tempted to walk to the castle through Letenska Park. You might take tram 8 up the hill to the stop at Letenske Namesti. Go to the technical museum (if you enjoy bicycles and motorcycles this is the place), walk through the park and get to the castle. Letenske is an up and coming neighbor of Prague. The park is relaxing and gives you views of the old town from atop the opposite side.
