Two possibilities for getting from the na Knizeci bus station (where the Student Agency Bus will drop us when we return from Cesky Krumlove) to our hotel at Mala Stupartska 5/636 appear to be the Metro B Line or a tram (not sure of the number.) When I look up these routes on Google Maps it appears there is a fairly long walk from where we disembark from either the metro or the tram to get to the hotel. I know sometimes maps make the walk look long when it is in fact very walkable. We each have a small wheeling bag and a purse or day pack. For those experienced travelers who might be familiar with the area, are these walks as long as they look? If so, would you recommend we call a AAA cab to meet us at the bus station instead?
Thanks.
Vivian
Hi Vivian,
I've been to Prague a couple times and am somewhat familiar with the layout, and the walk didn't look too far to me. But I still Google mapped your hotel address to the Namesti Republiky Metro stop (Line B, as you indicated), and Google indicates it is a 450m walk (492 yards) and takes 6 minutes. That would be walkable to me with a wheeled suitcase, but only you can make that determination.
Happy travels!
Thanks for your response. I didn't think to look at the time when I checked the Google map. For sure we can easily walk that distance.
