We would like to get from the airport to Minibrewery Hotel U Medvidku which is located at Na Perstyne 7 Prague 1. We are not adverse to taking buses, trams, and metros. Thanks for any suggestions, Hank Novato, Ca
You can do this on public trans (like most budget backpacker traveler types who can't afford a taxi do)
but this requires a bus and transfer to a train/tram so why not just take a taxi

or ask information desk at the airport how to get a txi
Airport bus to Dejvica (end of line, I believe), and metro from there 4 stops to Mustek. Walk under 1/2 mile. You can switch to yellow Metro at Mustek and go one stop to Narodni Trida for a much shoreter walk. Note there are two airport buses, the other goes south to the Metro at Zlicin, and it's a much longer Metro ride, but no change, to same Narodni Trida stop. Plug these into GOogle Maps.
you need to get the 119 bus to nardrazi Veleslavin , last stop and then the metro to Mustek, head out of the exit in the direction you have come from, far left as you look to where you have come from and you should come out on the street Perlova should be less than a 5 minute walk from there. the 100bus to Zlicin then then yellow line to Narodni Trida is probably easier but the 100 bus runs less often than the 119.you have abpout a 2 minute walk from Narodni trida.
there is also an Airport express bus to the main train station, run by the train company, this really is not suitable for you.
U Medvidku is in a great area and is a well known restaurant/ bar, been about 18 months since I was last in there for a meal though I have been in their Oldgott Brewery area for a few beers and it is well worth going there.
you can get tickets for the transport system at stall in either of the terminal, a 32kc ticket should cover you but you might need a 13kc luggage tickets if you have bags bigger than a carryon bag.Just stap the ticket in the yellow machine on the foist bus you use,no need to re-stamp it again and it will last for 90 minutes which is plenty of time to get to your accommodation.
Larry the transport system has changed a fair bit in the last couple of years and the trams a lot in the last 6 month and even for a regular visitor such as me it is hard to keep up.
There has been an extension on the green line metro and Dejvicka is no longer the interchange point for the 119 bus and the metro, that is now Nadrazi Veleslavin, of course in true kafkaseque fashion the new metro/bus interchange does not have escalators all the way from and to the bus station level and you have to hump your bags up and down, the airport authorities have employed a couple of porters to help with the bags at Velelavin.
There has been some new routes on the trams which are useful to tourist especially the new 23 which years ago was the old 23 but that service was withdrawn about 10 years ago but it is now reinstated but using nostalgic tram carriages from the 60's.Night trams have changed number fro starting with a 5 to starting with a 9 again true kafkaseque when a N as a prefix covers both Czech and English for night.

this is the official Prague transport info site and it is very good with route planner and some very good info.
