We will be in Prague from June 17-19. We have read that there has been some high water in Prague. Are some areas closed.
Hard to know 2 weeks in advance what the situation will be. It will be easier to know once you actually get there.
there is no problem in Prague, just been talking to friends in the city via facebook and they say there was some localised flooding earlier this week due to thunderstorms but river levels are no where near any danger level.
I was in the City during the great Flood of 2002, now that was crazy.
Flooding is not and will not be a problem in Prague.
After the August 2002 "thousand year floods", the city invested in a massive flood prevention system. This system of barriers deepens the river channel and keeps the flood water off the city streets. It was successfully tested by a big flood in June 2013. The system works. The streets are dry and the museums, shops, restaurants, hotels, guided tours and all other forms of tourist activity continued as normal.
You might need an umbrella though, just in case you get caught in the rain.
