Anyone traveling in the area or planning to do so should check the news about recent flooding. I'm surprised there is no mention of this in the Forum. I wish I could recommend a site or sources for the latest info, but I do not have any. Just wanted to give a heads up!

I guess you didn't search hard enough:
Most of the problems are in the north-east of the country so will only be an issue if you are going to the Ostrava area or south towards Brno. In Prague the river is running high with flood defences in operation so some riverside locations are not accessible to the public. There are currently no river boat cruises running and in general no river activities, no Naplavka market at least for the next two weeks and Shooters Island is closed. Apart from that, tourist sites are open as usual.
I was just there, and it was flooding in South Moravia enough to impact smaller towns. But I suspect that will be over by the time you read this.
