I'm off to Prague through Munich in mid. Oct with almost a 2 hours layover (if my plane from Montreal is not delayed) >. Does anyone know how the line for EES will be? I read that there is a an "Urgent Departures" monitors and if my flight is listed, an airport staffer can pull me out of the line and bypass the wait.. Is that so?

Sorry but no one can tell you what the line will be like tomorrow let alone October. If you are on Star Alliance flights on one ticket you shouldn't have a problem - Munich is a very efficient airport and they will have the incentive to get you on the connecting flight.
