Booked using eDreams on Skyscanner and got a message from RyanAir saying they didn't have a relationship with them. They want verification it's me - I'm feeling a little worrisome. Has anyone else had this issue?
What is eDreams? Why not book directly with Ryan Air?
I would start with eDreams -- whom ever they are. Double check your credit card to see if the charge went through. Are you trying to purchase RyanAir tickets through a travel agency or consolidator -- assuming that is what eDreams are. I try to avoid third party ticketing but sometimes you cannot. And RyanAir is last on my list unless I have no other choice.
I used Skyscanner which takes you to about 5 booking companies. Normally, RyanAir is one of them, but in this case, they were not listed so I chose eDreams. The charge is pending as RyanAir blocked them - I'm worried I will be held accountable for the charge even if I don't verifiy with RyanAir.
Oh my. eDreams is notorious on the Trip Advisor Air Travels forum. Here is a link to just one of many threads with poor outcomes booking thru eDreams.

You are right to be worried. I am so sorry that you are in this stressful situation. If it goes from pending to a charge, dispute immediately with your credit card company.
Edreams=Enightmares for so many people.
numerous people have problems with eDreams,they work on the very edge of legality. as Ryanair say they don't have a relationship with them. I use Ryanair several times a year , they are a good low cost airline but they have their rules and stick to them.
If there is anyway yo can cancel your flights through eDreams i would do so and book direct with Ryanair but check exactly what you are paying for as Ryanair does charge for anything extra
People love to use Skyscanner to check flights. Did you know that it's a Chinese owned online travel agency who will switch you to whoever's going to give them the biggest commission? Instead of using Skyscanner start using Google flights. And then book directly with the airline.
If you do get charged but don't get the tickets dispute the charge with your credi card company.
Ryanair does not like dealing with travel agents so they are going to want you to confirm your identity. From the Ryanair website:
If you have been asked to verify your identity, it is because your booking has been flagged as having been made by a third-party travel agent that has no commercial agreement with Ryanair to sell our flights. Many of these third-party travel agents complete the Ryanair check-in process for their customers.
Remember if you have a problem with your flight, it is up to eDrerams to resolve not Ryanair.
Please stay away from e dreams. I bought tickets through them I'm 2016 from Santorini to Athens and they botched my daughter's ticket using her first and middle name but no surname. Aegean Airlines refused to help us and told us to deal with e dreams. We called them over and over and all they did was promise to look into it and we never heard back from them after multiple messages. They ste the worst. If you can get your money back and go elsewhere I'd recommend doing so.
I just got scammed by edreams, I didn't know if I was dealing with a mafia gang. I paid 396 US dollars via their application for a Monterrey-New York ticket, because of my unavailability, I had to request a refund since I paid them for that, well like all the other customers victims of their scam , after 10 days of waiting, they wrote to me to tell me that my bank card has expired, which is false... I ask the authorities that control cyber criminals to help the victims of Edreams to recover their money, I also ask you who are victims of them to join in facing these thieves.
General note: Use these portals to find flights. But in almost all cases, the actual ticket purchase should be directly with the airline, hotel, or train. We got taken by cheaptickets ourselves. We booked Ryanair thru them, but came to find that the ticket price included a hefty fee for cheaptickets - $25/ticket.
Please avoid edreams like the plague. They are the worst. Bought plane tickets from them fir round trip from Santorini to Athens in 2016 and they screwed up.my daughter's name on the ticket. Tried reaching out to them, went to a number on Madrid and all they did was lie to me about how they were looking into the situation. They did nothing and I wound up having to rebook the flights with a local travel agent in Santorini. As I said, avoid them at all costs.
