eBiking in Prague

After a full day with a group tour, we have a free day with no tours scheduled in Prague at the end of May. We would like to rent ebikes. We own ebikes and enjoy using them. Has anyone done that? Any recommendations? Are helmets and chain and locks included? Any special laws to observe? Any special places to see that aren't usually on a group tour? Thank you for your advice! SS

I wrote about when we hired bikes for the day including an e-bike at https://livingprague.com/activities/prague-bike-hire/. It just describes the day, how we planned the route, who we hired from etc. No special attractions but we wanted to include Troja Chateau, a pub and the little river ferry. When you hire the bikes you are provided with a lock but the helmet is optional although you will have a sign a waiver to agree that you were offered one. Insurance is also optional. You obey bike signs i.e. some roads allow you to go against one-way vehicles. You give way to traffic coming from your right on unmarked junctions. We stayed on flat ground by the river but the route is up to you.
