We will be in Prague for Easter this April and are wondering what we can expect in terms of closures, reduced services, etc. Also interested in potentially unique experiences to check out during this time of year.
Thanks!

Both the Friday and Monday are officially state holidays here so you can expect closures of public services, some independent small businesses and banks etc. Public transport will run equivalent to a Sunday service. Tourist sites and restaurants will be open as normal. In fact more things will be closed as it is a Monday rather than because it is Easter. On the Monday morning if you see anybody walking around with a whip made of willow with coloured ribbons and carrying a basket then follow them to see how we "give spring energy to a woman".
The Easter markets
are great, just check the dates. They quite a festive experience.
