Anyone ever stayed at the EA Tosca? Looks like it's near a stop on Balincka St. If yes, what is the best way to reach the hotel from Nádraží Veleslavín Metro?
Very easy by public transport. I am presuming you are taking the bus from the airport to Veleslavin. Just go into the metro and take it all the way to Namesti Miru stop ( about 20 minutes) This metro stop has one of the longest escalators in Europe if not the world ,enjoy the ride.once you get to the top of the escalator take the exit to your left but note there are no lifts or escalators up to the actual street level but it is not a big set of steps and I have done it many times with a suitcase and I am 70.. it is a short walk to the hotel, either walk along Frankouzska and then left on to Blanicka,or follow The street Korunni and then right on to Blanicka.. not stayed in that hotel but stayed in many others in that area over many years.
Awesome help, Uncle Gus!!! Can't wait to check out the escalator--lol.
One more. I see where seniors get to ride free on the metro, but you have to pay if you have "large" luggage. Does that also refer to our wheeled carry on suitcases (22x14x9)?
free travel on buses trams and metro in the city area, you will be fine with your carry bag.Make sure you hva e your passport available to prove your age if asked, loads of pubsm resturants ,cafes and carryout places in the area and transport by tram or metro to all the areas you are likely to visit.
🤗 Thank you! You're the best!
