Driving from Munich to Prague with stops in Salzburg and Vienna and back to Munich

Planning a trip in September to Austria/Czech Republic- Anyone with experience driving this proposed loop? Suggestions and details on difficulties encountered are very much appreciated. We are planning ~8 days with one day in Salzburg (2 nights), 3 nights in Vienna, or 2 in Vienna and 1 CK, and 3 in Prague.
Our biggest concern is driving into/out of the bigger cities - Vienna and Prague. Signage good?
Thank you in advance for suggestions.

It is far better, easier and more pleasant to ditch the car and take trains. We have lived in Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg and traveled by trains and public transport rather than the nightmare of a car. Hope you are fluent in German and Czech. I am fluent in German and semi-fluent in Czech but I still would't want to drive there.

I have driven into Munich, Salzburg, and Vienna with no major issue on one trip (several years ago). But I don't see you getting any value out of the car unless you have time for more small-town and rural stops during your drive. Train service is direct and easy to everywhere except Cesky Krumlov (connecting train, direct bus from Prague, and other shuttle services are available), relatively affordable, and does not require reservations.
