Day trips fr Prague for Jewish travelers

We'll be in Prague for five nights end of June, and would like some guidance about day trips. How to manage visit to Terezin? If we're interested in Trebic, should we plan a one-night stay over and see other southern towns? Where to stay? Or combine other towns with Trebic? Any place else?

They specialize in Jewish tours in Prague and surrounds. We took the tour to Terezin and it was well worth the trip/time/cost because of the in-depth knowledge of our guide. This was in 2018 and at that time I wasn’t keeping track (journaling) about what we were doing or with whom so I don’t remember her name.
There is so much to see in Prague that using their other offerings would also be well worth the time.

For Terezin, Pavel Batel at https://terezin-private-tours.com/ has always been my favourite. If you are heading down to Trebič and you want an overnighter then I'd travel early to Trebič which by car will take just under 2 hours. Spend the morning then drive back across and visit Telč in the afternoon. Then head to Jindrichuv Hradec (look at the hotel Bila Pani for the overnight). Then the next morning take a look around the town then stop at Tabor in the afternoon arriving back in Prague that evening. There are several villages between Telč and Tabor that still have buildings that were former synagogues but you'll need to do your own research.

Another vote for Pavel. He is an amazing, knowledgeable guide and the day we spent with him at Terezin is one we will never forget. He books up quickly, so if you are interested I would suggest you contact him immediately. We also took the Prague Jewish Tour with his colleague Yvonne, who was great and well worth our time. There are quite a few of the Stolpersteine plaques in Prague, so be on the lookout for them as you walk the city.

I booked a tour of the Terezin ghetto with Pavel Batel and I have to say I never experienced such a passion with a combination of academic knowledge. If you decide to go to Terezin touring with Pavel is a must. We also did a Jewish Quarter private tour with Yvonne - I would highly recommend booking a guide as many sights don't have any explanation. She also has an amazing page on Instagram where you can get tips on what to do in Jewish Prague. Their webs are www.terezin-private-tours.com or www.jewish-prague-tours.com. I haven't been to Trebic but should I return, I would be interested in visiting Kolin as there is a lot of Jewish heritage but it is not so far from Prague.
