Any suggestions on travel itinerary with a 4 year old? We will be traveling in May, but we haven't planned the rest of the trip yet. Tentatively planning on starting in Prague, then via train to Graz, Austria followed by Cesky Krumlov via bus/Linz shuttle, and then depart to U.S. from Prague. The toddler is a very good traveler as we have traveled from the Midwest to Washington DC area twice, Toronto, and Rocky Mt. National Park without any troubles. Mostly looking for advice on additional ideas and whether Cesky Krumlov/Prague would be the best Czech Republic locations for a 4 year old. If so, how many nights would you suggest at each location? Any suggestions on kid friendly lodging? Any concerns with it being flooded with tourists in May, or should we expect a comfortable shoulder season?
We are okay with off the beaten path ideas that we might get a better sense of the country if anyone has additional suggestions (i.e. country farm destinations/lodging). We do prefer locations with access to shuttles and public transit though over rental car to give the 4 year less time being stuck in a car seat. Thanks for any suggestions!
