I have discovered a new approach to pilzen n prague. Train from munich to regensberg to prague. 2 nts. Bus back to pilsen. 1 nt. Train to wurzberg. Thoughts? Reactions?

After 31 May you have the option of a direct train connection to Pilsen or further to Prauge from Munich.
There is another way using the night train connection Vienna to Prague, arr. a bit after 0600 hrs, then changing to PIlsen....very doable to Pilsen allowing a basically a whole day.

The train station in Plzen has been undergoing a massive reconstruction of the tracks and platfoms, been a year since I was there and there was still a huge amount of work still to be done so don't know if it is complete yet but I will be in the city in August so will see then
