Czech Railways Summer Special

Czech railways have just announced details of their Summer Special Ticket:

Unlimited travel on any train, any time, any day anywhere in the Czech Republic, for a period of either 7 days or 14 days.

The 7 day ticket is costs 790czk and the 14 day ticket costs 1190czk.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, 6 June, on the Czech Railways website. The valid travel period is 1 July to 31 August 2016.

This is incredible value for anyone who will be in the Czech Republic this summer, especially if you have a few days to spend here and would like to see more of the country than just Prague.

That is a really great deal. I am back in Prague in early August but won't be able to take advantage of this as I am leading a small walking group and the only train we will be using will be to Karlstejn and returning from Beroun, so fairly local stuff.

Does this ticket work on all public transportation in Prague? Would I need to buy something additional in order to get around the city?
