Is everything close this day? what is happen in prague on this day?
As far as tourism is concerned you'll find everything will be open. But places like banks will be closed and as it falls on a Friday you'll notice some small shops will close for a long weekend. My tip for October 28th is to go to the Prague Castle because 1) entry to all historic buildings is usually free and 2) it's one of only two days a year that the public can visit the State Rooms.
Jason, when you refer to the state rooms in the Prague Castle, what are these? I will be in Prague October 26 to 30 and may go to castle on the 28th.
The State Rooms are in the 2nd courtyard also called the New Palace. You enter them via the Matthias Gate steps. You can then walk through a succession of grand rooms that ordinarily are only accessible for high ranking government officials like when a head of state is received at the castle.
