We have tickets for a show at the arena on Saturday evening . Travel from our hotel seems fairly straightforward but wondering how early we should plan to be in the area prior to the gates opening. We do like to arrive early , even at home in New York, in order to orient ourselves & avoid rushing. Can anyone suggest a place for a casual dinner (not fast food) in the area ? I believe there is a large shopping mall nearby where we could spend a little time if necessary.
You are refering to the O2 arena in London?
If the answer is yes then there’s a Wagama as well as a Nando’s nearby. At least there were in 2024.
Assuming you're talking about the O2 in London (you've posted this in the Czech Republic forum).....
We went to a show at the O2 last June. It wasn't in the main arena; rather, it was in one of the side venues. We took the Thames water link from central London to the North Greenwich pier, which was a fun way to travel. We took the tube back to our apartment after the show.
There are dozens of restaurants inside the O2 itself. We ate somewhere (can't remember) near to the entrance of the show venue and ambled over when we saw things start to get busy in front of the venue. I think we arrived about an hour before the show, but you can get there as early as you want.

there is an O2 Arena in Prague, there are a few places to eat nearby but personally I would have something central or in the Karlin area and take the many trams or Metro a few stops to the arena
I was referring to the O2 in Prague. We have tickets for Andre Rieu this weekend.
