Buy a boat ticket and spend the day visiting stops along the lake.

Take the funicular up to the town of Brunate. The views of Como, the lake and the Alps are fantastic.

In Como town, you can view an array of early batteries and prototypes at the small, lakeside Tempio Voltiano.
