I will be in Prague over the Christmas holiday. Are there any suggestions for places to eat? Many restaurants will be closed, so hopefully there is someone out there who can recommend a good place to make reservations.

Don't know if our experience applies. But were there on New Years Day and it was pretty dead. Only restaurants in big hotels open. I would assume that Christmas Day would be very limited. I would check with your hotel.

The main Christmas dinner is actually on Christmas Eve. Traditional Christmas dinner is fried carp (watch for bones) and potato salad. Czech carp tastes better than asian carp which you can buy in the States. Nevertheless it's not salmon. Only tourists eat on that day in restaurants. Locals eat home with their families.
