Cesky Krumlov to Bratislava

We want to stay overnight in Bratislava on our way to Budapest. We’re planning Prague to Cesky Krumlov to Bratislava to Budapest.

Okay. Stay in the Old Town, it's pretty touristy, but "nice". I stayed at Arcadia Boutique Hotel about 6 months ago, pretty nice.

You can take the train from Bratislava to Budapest Nyugati Station. You can stop in Gyor/Pannonhalma Archabbey on the way to Budapest ... takes a change of trains and you will end up at Keleti Station in Budapest. Or use DayTRIP.COM and stop in Gyor and the archabbey on the way.

Thanks MaryPat, I did check that out since the train was not direct. We,just might do that since the rest of our travel is very reasonable.

If you have time, make the Gyor/Pannonhalma stop. I enjoy Gyor as much as Bratislavs .... smaller, but not so many tourists. Pannonhalma is a very interesting stop.

And CK Shuttle will do the trip for you too, with a private car. But the cheapest may turn out to be a Ck Shuttle van to Vienna, then the bus (?) To Bratislava.
