We're starting our RS tour in Prague this fall. Which is the best DAY tour to Cesky-Krumlov? And does it include an interior tour (demo of sound effects, etc.) of the theater? They look like they're roughly 4 hr of bus and 5 in town.
Or, would it be better to spend extra time in Prague? If Prague, doing what that is not on the tour?
I believe that CK is best done as an overnight, rather than a day trip. Which tour are you on - it looks like the only tour that includes CK is Berlin-Prague-Vienna. Are you arriving a day or two before the tour starts?
We bought separate tickets to tour the theater online before we arrived in CK. The English tours aren't that frequent, and quite popular - we took the tour in Czech and it was fine - the docent had an English-language handout.
The tour of Municipal House was one of our best experiences in Prague - that and the original Mucha Museum - now there are two.
We're on the Central Europe tour that starts on a Friday. We'd probably arrive in Prague the Wednesday before. Sounds like we're trying to squeeze in too much. After hearing from several people, we'll probably just enjoy our time in Prague. I don't think we'll be bored. lol
Thanks Everyone!
The Mucha Museum and Municipal House both look like something we'd like to visit. Thanks for the tips!
