Has anyone been to a performance at the castle theatre in Cesky Krumlov?
Is it better to sit in the balcony where benches have cushions or downstairs close to the stage.
There are very few performances in this exceptional, historic Baroque theater. Without a performance it can only be seen on a hard to get into guided tour. If I were going to a show I would sit near tge stage in the hope of seeing the old stage machinery in motion.
There are only three theaters like this left in Europe.
Took the tour of the place. Worth the effort.
Thank you both for your information.
Dear tim,
I know about Drottingholm and Cesky Krumlov. Where is the 3rd thetre?
Thanks,
J
