Cash or Card in Prague these days

Question for those who have visited Prague recently. We are visiting in September. Are they using cash or mostly contactless? We were in the UK in the spring and it was almost exclusively contactless.

both are widely accepted, in restaurants they will ask if you want to pay by cash or card,if by card they will bring a hand held device to the table, some places the server will have one on them.not sure what the limit is for contactless payment but certainly in my hotel i had to use my pin number to let the payment go through.

Contactless payments here give you a lot more options. Regular card payments will be accepted by most places but you may find that some places will say a "minimum" payment is required. I would say use the card where you can but have enough cash on you to pay the bill just in case. People using Diners and AMEX should check before ordering food in a restaurant etc to make sure they accept those cards. Visa/Mastercard widely accepted.
