Booked Guide in Prague, suggestions on what we should focus tour on?

We booked a private guide (from RS book) for Prague for 4 hours mid June, starting at 8AM in Old Town Square. Guide is willing to tailor tour and limit or expand to whatever we want.

Unfortunately, if this plantar fasciitis current flare up of mine doesn't markedly improve by then, I'll have to LIMIT the walking on the guided tour. (Everyone else in our group of 5 is young, active and able). Since we're staying at Old Town Square, I figure we could see it at our leisure (RS's audiotour is awesome).

I'm thinking of having the guide walk us to Charles Bridge (since it's 8AM and less crowded?) & Jewish Quarter, Wencelas Square (this last one because we listened to RS walking tour and it sounds so fascinating to see the sights where Velvet Revolution took place).

Your thoughts?

Cat,
Thank you in advance for your suggestions/thoughts.

l you have my sympathy over the plantar fasciitis ,suffred with it first in my right foot then my left, took over 2 years for it to go away but fine now,.hitting Charles Bridge early is a good idea even at 8.00am it will be busy but nothing like later on. might be an idea for the guide to give you a good overall ancient and modern history of the area and then decide if you want to take it further with specialised tour. Wenseslas Square is quite a modern area but if the guide knows the history will bring it alive for you and a little tip take a set of keys with you,I always jangle mine when walking past the Melantrich Balcony a very understated and unusual historical site which most folk will walk by without knowing the history.
there is supposed to be some redevelopment work going on in wenslaslas Square to turn it into a much more pedestrian/tourist friendly area but not sure when this is going to start.
Whatever you decide on doing Prague is an amazing city with fantastic history art and culture so immerse your self in it all, don't try to do everything, relax and enjoy.

Should your condition not improve enough to keep up with rest of the group, you might want to look at the #22 Tram tour recommended in the RS book. We haven't done it, but probably will try it for initial orientation later this year. Best wishes for a complete recovery before you go.

Dekuji to Unclegus, rca and Harold!

Your suggestions are very much appreciated. Unclegus: Charles Bridge early morning it is (perhaps up to St. Vitus Cathedral, too) to take advantage of less crowded. rca: We'll definitely do Tram #22 tour, though it's hard to visualize reading RS's section on that.
Harold: very helpful thread! Thank you.

Yep , it is a good one .I first did it many years ago on a very wet Sunday in Prague along with some friends, we were standing at the back beside the old manual braking system and having a laugh, a couple of young lads about 6 or 7 years old came on and stared daggers at us till we moved away from the brakes so they could pretend they were operating it.defeaty by pesky kids yet again.
