Is there a baggage fee on city buses when going/coming from airport or train stations eg in Prague ?
According to someone I was in contact with recently, it costs 16 crowns to take a suitcase on the bus. Don't know about the trains.

Taking public transportation is the cheapest way to get to and from
the Prague airport. The ride costs 32 Kč (60 Kč on the Airport Express
bus - see below) and the transit system is quite easy to use. Keep in
mind that public transport may not have much space for luggage, can be
crowded in peak times and most likely won't drop you off right at your
hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, you may want to consider using a
transfer service or a taxi. For each piece of luggage larger than 25 cm x 45 cm x 70 cm (10 in x 18 in x 28 in), it is necessary to purchase a 13 Kč transfer ticket.
Appreciate the info.
if you use the 24hr or 72 hr tickets then you don't need to have a separate luggage ticket.
myczechrepublic is still showing the old tariff. Definitely CZK16 now. Check http://www.dpp.cz/en/fares-in-prague/ for restrictions. Note that you biggest issue will be getting the tickets. There's a new "credit card" ticket booth but it will probably cost you more in charges than the cost of the tickets. For the Airport Express use the Raiffeisen ATM in the arrival hall to get CZK200 notes and use one to pay the driver as he'll have change for that. The price includes a piece of large luggage but remember it only stops at Republic Square and the Main Train Station.
Thanks for the help-just have a small carry-on sized suitcase 20x 14 x8 inches so should be ok.
