I have read conflicting information about travel to Prague in September. In general, it appeared that there would be fewer crowds (relative) and still some nice weather and daylight in September. But then I read that September is busier than in August. If someone could clarify for me, I would be grateful. Perhaps late August would be a good time. Thanks.

It's all the same really. 6.2 million people arrived in Prague last year. The weather tends to be warmer in August than September, and there is more daylight. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same.
