Associated guides from RS recommended local gides

I'm going to be in Prague in late April and have decided to use a local guide. I have seen many positive comments about the primary guide/owners of the RS recommended outfits, Prague Walker or Personal Prague Guide, but nothing about experiences with their team members. This also applies to Jason who has also been highly praised. I was too late for them. Does anyone have comments or experience with other guides?

I am also going to Budapest, and I have encountered the same guide situation - next year I should start nailing down guides and trips sooner!

Another question associated with the pricing/quality. I am seeing pricing between CZK 8,000 and 9,000 (~$39) an hour for private guides; however, a Travel Advisor told me she quoted a client EUR 930 (~$1,000) for a 7 hour walking tour in Prague. Is there a difference of three times the price in individual guides?

Thank you in advance for your comments.

I am looking for a highly recommended guide for the Jewish Quarter and, possibly, some additional information on Communist Prague for May. I ,too, was too late to book Jason for May and I have been unable to get a reply back from Jana Hronkova' who Rick's guidebook recommended. I am glad to see a recommendation for Terazin. I looked at Context Tours but they seem very expensive. Any other recommendations are very appreciated.

In Prague a good ballpark figure per hour will be around CZK1000/U$50 and that will not include any entry fees. This will fluctuate based on the number of people (the rate quoted may only be for the first two people etc), the tour content and the day you want to tour i.e. weekends, holidays etc. I've seen ridiculous prices quoted by companies who seem to operate a "take it or leave it" attitude for last-minute stuff. Always worth enquiring with known guides for any recommendations/options. I always reply even if I'm not available, some are not so attentive.
