We will be visiting Prague in September 2026 for 5 nights. We are looking for recommendations/advice on renting a property with a kitchen for light cooking. We would like the place not to be too far from the main tourist area (Old Town).

It's not an apartment but an apartment hotel. Each room has a kitchen but it also has full hotel services.
Warning...it's not cheap.
Look at the High Heaven Apartment.
I stayed there for about a week, and would stay there again.
It's right between the Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge.

Alveo Suites would be nearest to several supermkarkets, and other shops. I've stayed here numerous times. Check in is a block away at Urban Creme hotel. Breakfast optional.

We stayed in Residence Karolina, one of the Prague City Apartments listings. It’s also on booking dot com but we booked a 1 bedroom with a small terrace directly with the company. The place was fantastic and a perfect location. Very walkable to everything and just outside of the crush of tourist central. It really was a great apartment. Highly recommend!
