Apartment rentals in Prague

Can anyone recommend an apartment rental agency in Prague (other than airbnb)? Or a specific rental you might have been pleased with? Would like to be within walking distance or a short tram ride of the town center.

We rented a phenomenal apartment in Prague last spring. It is # 811627 on the Homeaway site. You will see my review listed as Diane C. It was very affordable, spacious, and located just a couple of blocks from trams, buses, shopping and restaurants galore. There were two large bedrooms, a spacious living room, kitchen/dining area and a bath and a half. It has very high ceilings that add to the elegant feel of the apartment -- yet it is very comfortable. The rental process was handled very professionally. I would definitely recommend this apartment. We stayed there one week.

Here I am again - I answered on your Krakow post also. In Prague I stayed at Apartments Pushkin. Well located for walking to the main central sights, close to the main square in the pedestrian only area, walk to the Charles Bridge, tram stops, etc.. Gets excellent ratings on TA and booking.com and very inexpensive. Again, this is an aparthotel so no worries like with airbnb, 24 hr front desk and helpful staff. Highly recommend. http://www.pushkin-apartments.hotel-v-praze.info/accommodation.htm

Have you already checked the ones RS recommends in his book? Also check with Lidya Janska (RS book) to see if she has anything that meets your needs.

try Travelcook prague, they are very good. I too have stayed in the Pushkin apartments but that was quite a few years ago and they are ideally situated for a first time visitor

Check out the Arcadia Residence apartments. They're beautiful and really well-priced. The TA reviews are excellent. We loved out unit - right near the main square. They have a dedicated management person in the office you can meet with on arrival to get questions answered etc. if you find that helpful. Our apartment was just enormous - over 1000 square feet and just incredibly elegant. Breakfast was delivered to us each morning on a tray. Loved it.

Thanks to everyone who replied and gave me some options to airbnb and hotels.com.

I just checked the Arcadia Residence website and this is what they now show on their homepage:
-----------------
Dear guests, with regret we inform you that for unforeseen circumstances Arcadia has just ended its activities. We are very sorry for that. Guests who booked for 2017 through Expedia or Hotels.com should have already been contacted for relocation by their customer service. We are contacting guests who booked directly with us.

We take the opportunity to thank all of you for these wonderful and successful years.

Thank you for understanding
