Anyone w Feedback re Wizz Air?

Am trying to find the best way to get from Prague to Italy on Mon 05/05/14.

So far in my research, it looks like the quickest & possibly the best option (depending on your feedback) is to fly direct on Wizz Air. I appreciate any tips or feedback from anyone that has ever flown with this particular airline.

Thanks in Advance!

You can go on Czech Airline, Wizz Air or EasyJet into Rome. Any would be fine.
Wizz is getting to expand operations Rome FCO greatly in the next year from many cities.

Just pack light.

David,

Thanks for you response.

I should have been more specific. I am more looking for general feedback from folks who have flown Wizz Air.

I'm trying to fly into Venice & have found the only direct flight offered on my date of travel is on Wizz Air. If Wizz Air is a nightmare to fly with, I'll look for a plan B.

Thanks!

We took the same Wizz Air flight you are suggesting about 3 years ago and had no issues whatsoever. Just be sure you are clear on their carry on requirements and checked bag fees. The flight was in to Treviso airport, not Marco Polo, but there is an easy and inexpensive bus to take you to Venice. I wouldn't hesitate to take this flight again.

Doug,

Thanks! That's just what I needed to hear. I'll book later today since there is only one scheduled flight for that date.

I flew WizzAir from Brussels to Budapest a few years ago. I thought it was great - especially for 15 Euros. As long as you're okay with not having an assigned seat or free food/drinks (and have a high tolerance for pink and purple), there shouldn't be a problem. Not sure if you have flown EasyJet, but they're about the same, as far as budget airlines go.

I have had only good expériences so far. Cheap flights, friendly staff and on-time. I would fly with them again.
For short flights within Europe I think they are more than fine!
