Airlines from Prague to Rome

I have used them many times but not for a few years, they used to do Prague -Edinburgh route and I used them 2 or 3 times a year but they stopped doing that route several years ago, never had any problems with them.

Czech Airlines do a codeshare with Alitalia on this route. The low-cost carriers Wizzair and EasyJet and Vueling all fly from Prague to Rome Fiumicino. It's a short flight (about 90 minutes) so levels of comfort don't really matter that much. In short there is lots of selection, and they are all pretty much offering the same service, but you'll pay more with Czech Airlines to be slightly more comfortable.

A taxi from Rome Fiumicino to anywhere within the Aurelian Walls (city centre) is a standard 40eur flat fare. Alternatively, there is the Leonardo Express (14eur pp) to Roma Termini Central Station or the regional service to Roma Trastevere (8eur pp), depending on which part of the city you need to get to.

We have flown with them twice. One time was great, and the other time they lost our reservation, and we had to go through about an hour of hassle on each leg of the trip in order to get things straightened out. They did upgrade us into business class to make up for the trouble, though, and we're flying from Stockholm back to Prague with them next month. We flew Vueling to Rome and it was also fine.

We just flew WizzAir Prague -> Venice (Treviso). The flight was fine for the low price. We fly to Europe and withing Europe every summer and WizzAir had THE absolute tiniest seats I've ever seen. They didn't recline, of course, but my knees firmly hit the back of the seat in front of me. Again, short flights and cheap prices make little seats acceptable in my book.

I have flown Czech Air from JFK to Prague two times and the food and service were excellent.I have also used Vueling in Europe for short flights with no problem.
