Advice needed. Cesky Krumlov and Tabor

Hi all

Our trip for July is pretty much planned as far as location and dates are concerned but I could use some advice on the particulars. We have 3 nights in Prague and 1 night in Cesky Krumlov. We have a private transfer booked and plan a stop in Tabor en route. We leave early the following day as we have a private transfer booked to Budapest and plan to stop in Telc, Slavonice, Cizov (iron curtain) and Mikulov en route to Budapest. I'm wondering about the length of time we should plan for Tabor. We have an early pick up in Prague (7:30am) so I expect we'll be in Tabor by 9am. I'm thinking we should arrive in CK by noon or 12:30 but I'm concerned we may be rushing it. I've been reading about CK being totally over run with tourists and no local feel so I'm not really sure what to expect. We'd like to explore CK (the town), the castle, and maybe do a boat ride. Should we spend more time in Tabor than I'm planning?

Why do you have to plan it now? You arrive to Tabor and you'll see. Tabor unlike other towns was not founded by king or nobility but by religious rebels called Hussites. You can visit Hussites museum in Tabor. You will enjoy it more if you get some basic knowledge. Google Hussites, Jan Hus (John Huss), Jan Zizka. Tabor is a pretty town but did not make it into Rick Steves book: Prague & the Czech Republic and number of tourists is bearable. Cesky Krumlov is absolute beauty. Unfortunately in July it will be very crowded. See it at night and early morning.

Thanks Ilja. I'm a bit of a planner and I'd hate to decide to spend a few more hours in Tabor, arrive in CK around 15:00 and find out we dont' have enough time there. We leave very early the following morning, around 8:30, so we'll have the evening for sure but not much time in the morning to explore.

What are everyone's thoughts on the inside of the castle? We'll be visiting Prague castle the day prior. Is visiting inside the castle a must-do experience? What about a boat/kayak ride.... has anyone here done it? Thinking of the 45min one, not the several hour one.
