Accommodation in Prague

Hi everyone,

I am trying to decide on housing. Which of these two locations would you recommend to spend three nights at with two toddlers:
1) Old town square: Železná 22, 110 00 Staré Město, Czechia

2) 60 meters away from Jeruzalémská 1310/7, 110 00 Praha 1, Czechia

Mainly we would like to minimize walking with the children.

Thanks!

the second one will be the quieter location and the fisrt in the busy Old town Square area so basically in the pedestrianized area.never been in the city with kids so can't really make comment on how suitable either site would be.

This link is helpful, thanks!

I guess it will be quite noisy at location 1 as it is near the Christmas market. I wanted originally to stay at mala strana, but I found that there can be slopes in areas which will make walking with the children and stroller difficult. If mala strana is the place to go, I'll look for something there and get exercising.

the lower part of Mala strana closer to the river is fairly flat but after that ie the other side of the main road, tram tracks it starts to get much steeper. Prague does have a very good and very cheap transport system most of the trams are accesable for Stroller though the older ones may be a problem (ie route23)

see if you can find some place on Kampa Island, that is still considered mala Strana and is a quiet area in the middle of the city within easy walking of all the main sites and trams up to the castle area.
