3 days Prague - solo traveller

Hi guys, I'll be visiting Prague around 2nd week of June and it'll be my last few days in Europe. I need some help with planning my itinerary without making it a very travel intense one. Would appreciate if you could help with places I can visit to absorb the culture and feel the pulse of the city. I'm foody and experimental. I don't mind doing a day tour or 2 as long as it won't involve long commute hours..

Usually I do research when I'm planning to travel. I plan my trip on my own to save money. I can't suggest you any places in Prague since I haven't gone there yet. I hope you will have a good and memorable experience in your trip!

for a true Prague experience head to Letna Park beer garden, this is real Prague life and the views over the city is quite stunning, decent street style food available too.

these are two tour companies that do small group tours, very reasonably priced and do tours a bit different from many other companies, I can recommend both companies.
can you let us know where you are staying and what days of the week you will be there and we can maybe recommend places to eat and other things to see and do.

Thank you for your replies :) I will be staying around Prague1 from 6th June to 9th June. I would like to know if it's a good idea to book a pub crawl tour, or just go just go n check out pubs around the town by myself.. I personally don't like being herded around .. But open to experiences..

keep in mind the strength of the various beers, most are measured in the plato scale 10,12 16,18 though often they will also be mentioned in % alcohol and some can be pretty strong ,I usually go for small beers once the get above 6% alcohol but not always.
Souvineer shops are everywhere and some are pretty crappy, beer glasses are a bit heavy to carry around but I do buy them for myself but Manufatura have lots of outlets doing stuff made in the Czech republic, mainly toiletries and household items, but great quality and prices are reasonable.if you get to the Markets I mentioned they usually have quite a few craft stalls so have a look and see what takes your fancy, wooden kitchen stuff is what I like.

Ok. I'll make a note of that. Also are you aware of any outlet malls similar to the one in Parndorf which might have some good discounts for taking some brands home(of course only if the discounts are worth it)?

no, clothes shopping in the Czech Republic is not cheap, there are a few outlet places in the suburbs but I have never been to any.

Probably the closest to Parndorf is Fashion Arena www.fashion-arena.cz/en. Take METRO green line A, Terminal station Depo Hostivař, then take the Fashion Arena Prague Outlet free BUS (the bus stop is found directly at the bus station). It leaves twice an hour and the journey only takes 8 minutes. Opens daily 1000-2200. List of outlets on the website. Have fun.
