I will be arriving solo via the main train station Praha hl.n. and walking to my hotel at the end of Wenceslas Square. I’m wondering about walking thru the park directly across the street from the station. I’ve read mixed reviews, I believe Rick Steves says cut across the park. Other articles say stay out of the park. Any current experience/advice? Appreciate it!!
My opinion would be that if it's daytime it won't be a problem.
Nothing to fear in the park. Just ignore the shady types offering to exchange money, though.
I answered this on another thread ,but it is completely safe, never had shady folk offering to exchange money but plenty of other shady folk about but they won't give you any problems.
