Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any experience doing a day trip to plitvice lake from zagreb with a tour company, that can talk about their experience, whether it was worthwhile and if they got to see encough of the park.

My husband and I were in Slovenia and Croatia in 2012. We did not go to Plitvice NP with a tour, instead we rented a car in Zagreb. We stayed 1 night in the park, and then drove to Split where we turned in the car. Plitvice NP is beautiful! It rained off and on the day that we were there, but it was well worth it. We usually prefer to not be in a large group for our sight-seeing, as we like to choose when and what we see. You can also take a bus to the park, but you would have to be careful about the times that they arrive and depart. I hope that this info helps you.
