We are driving from Plitvice to Zagreb. We are dropping our rental car off in Zagreb and will be staying for one night. Hoping to get at least an afternoon and evening there before we fly to Vienna.
Any hotel suggestions that will put us in the middle of some attractions?
Looked at Hotel Dubrovnik since it seems to be in the area that we are looking for.
Any more I may have missed?

We stayed at Hotel Jagerhorn located at Llica 14, Donji Grad. This hotel will put you in the middle of the attractions. It's a short walk from Trg Bana Jelacica (the main square). We easily visited the market from here, and walked up to Upper Town, explored the area, and visited the Museum of Naive Art. We walked every where.

Hotel Dubrovnik is in a good location. We haven’t stayed there but have passed by in our wanderings. We usually stay at the Hotel Esplanade or Hilton Canopy, one block separates them. They are a little further away by the train station. My favorite hotel is the Palace but it sustained earthquake damage and hasn’t reopened yet.
