My husband and I are flying into Zadar for a short weekend break and have 2 days that we want to fill with travel and sites. Any itinerary suggestions? We are looking at Plitvice National Park for one day, but we want to spend some time near the coast, too. Are there any recommended travel/tour agencies? Thanks!

Buses from Zadar to Plitvice take under 2 hours each way, but only run a couple of times per day, e.g., departing Zadar at 13:00 or 18:00, according to the July/August 2013 schedule in Rick's Croatia/Slovenia book, and departing back toward Zadar and Split at 9:30 or 16:30. You could explore http://www.buscroatia.com/zadar-plitvice/ to see if it gives you different timing.
