Weather issues. Need sdvice

So we are heading to the airport to begin our trip to Croatia and we noticed the weather this week on Wednesday. It’s pretty much 100% chance of rain all the way into Thursday morning. We are staying in the town of Rovinj and will have our own car. Monday is gonna be at travel and get set up day Tuesday the weather will be good, but then we leave on Friday for Plitvice.

Any advice on what we could do based on how poorly the weather will be? We are not very big on simple art galleries but if you have other ideas in regards to what can be indoor activities, I would appreciate it.

Hopefully you packed waterproof rain gear and an umbrella. My suggestion is to go out and do what you were planning to do. Plitvice is beautiful even in the rain (and the crowds may be kept at bay). Swimming if the water is warm - you're wet already. And the weather forecast could change especially five days out. Enjoy your trip!

Also look at the extent of the rain predicted. A 40% chance of rain could be a 30 minute shower. I had a few of those in Bosnia this week. Changed no plans. Didnt even make the trip report.

My daughter just got back from 8 days in Croatia. She was worried about the weather as well as it looked like rain every day, however, it ended up not raining at all and she had great weather. I would keep all your plans as is and be prepared in case you get a passing shower. She said that even when the weather report for that day said rain it would end up being fine. Embrace whatever you get and work with it as you go! Have a great time!

At the moment it does look like Wednesday is going to be very wet. I use the BBC weather online to track approaching rain on their satellite view forecast. If you keep an eye on this you can see if the predicted rain pattern changes as it approaches. It often does and you can find that you only catch the edge of the rain rather than being right in the middle of it.
