Hi!
National Park Krka is only 15 minutes away from Šibenik and it´s a tourist favorite. I would recommend visiting it at least for a couple of hours. There are 7 waterfalls, and unlike Plitvice Lakes, NP Krka is swimmable.
There are marked zones in the areas of Roški slap, Stinice, and Pisak where it is completely safe.
You can also see the old monastery and find out a bit about history.
It is smaller than Plitvice Lakes, but it´s definitely worth a visit.

Would it be good to have a driver/guide from Split to Krka? Or what would you suggest to get from Split to Krka?
