We have an opportunity to spend a week in Umbria and then want to visit Croatia and Slovenia for 2 more weeks....any suggestions for an itinerary ...we would consider River boat cruises but NOT big ships...Thank you!

Do you have the plane ticket already? What airport are you planning to fly into in Europe?

Well, there are no rivers really in any of these areas with river cruises. Maybe spend a week in Umbria and two weeks in Slovenia and Northern Croatia with a car? Why don't you do some research and come back with some of your ideas for feedback. I'm not trying to be rude, but we really don't know what you like or your budget or any other details.
