What's the Uber/Lyft, etc situation in Croatia? We'll be there in July and when I booked our first Airbnb the host offered to arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport (DBV). We'll rent a car here and there, but weren't planning to have it in the cities. Suggestions on best/cheapest way to get to and from airports?

I usually just use taxis when needed, but there is often a direct airport bus--at both DBV and SPU there is, so if you are going directly to old town, this is often perfectly convenient (and cheap!).

I was there 4 years ago and Uber worked great. Heading back this fall.

Uber. But don’t be me. I haven’t used my Uber account in ages, neglected to verify everything is working and I am having trouble verify my account. The taxi we took from Pile Gate to ferry port cost us over twice what an Uber driving would have. Frustrating but it’s on me for not making sure my account was up to date before travel.
