To tour or not to tour, that is the question. Hubby and I are finalizing details for our Croatia/Slovenia holiday and I'm trying to decide if it's worth trying to fit a truffle tour/experience into our schedule or if simply visiting Livade or somewhere close might scratch that itch. We are both foodies and love the idea of learning more and possibly digging our own truffules but time could be tight and I'm trying not to stuff too much into our itinerary.
Has anyone done one of the truffle tour experiences? If so with whom and what did you love/hate about it? Worth the time or not? Same question for visiting Livade or somewhere similar.
